The Academy welcomes children of all abilities from beginners to advanced dancers from 4+ years old. We offer a variety of classes from dance to drama and provide children with the opportunity to take exams in ISTD and IDTA as recognition of their hard work and dedication. The Academy also offers children performance opportunities throughout the year as well as our annual Easter Camp and Summer school

A Disciplined Beauty
Classical Ballet is the most important style of dance, it teaches a high level of technique and discipline and also allows the dancer to be expressive and artistic.
Demi Pointe
Preparation for Pointe
This is a preparation class for pointe work to focus on the correct technique and to build up strength. demi-pointe gives a dancer a more gradual transition to pointe work. Wearing the correct Demi-Pointe shoes allows the dance to get used to the feel of a pointe shoe before learning to dance on pointe.

Every ballet dancer dreams of the day they can finally purchase their first pair of pointe shoes! This class is an invitation only class for when a students has reached a high level of ballet technique and strength.
It is where the dancer will stand on the tip of their toes in specially designed shoes. They are all designed to support the full weight of the dancer.
The effect is simply beautiful, the essence of grace and poise.

Tap Dance is a rhythmical style of dance which teaches musicality, technique and style.
Street Dance
Pop it & Lock it
Street Dance is a fun and energetic style of dance. It is an umbrella term which encompasses a range of dance styles characterised by descriptions such as hip hop, funk and breakdancing. Its diverse nature has taught us new styles such as popping, locking, waving and krumping.
Commercial
Werk It
Commercial dance is the style of choreography you will see in concerts, live shows, music videos and TV adverts. It’s a combination of different styles including Jazz, Street, Hip Hop, lyrical and of course a little Diva thrown in the mix.
Contemporary Dance
Express Yourself
Contemporary dance is a style of expressive dance that combines elements of several dance genres including modern, jazz, lyrical and classical ballet. Contemporary dancers strive to connect the mind and the body through fluid dance movements.
Jazz Technique
Get Up & Move
Jazz style is a theatrical dance performed on stage. In jazz technique, not only do we focus on the style of jazz, we work on fitness, strength, leaps, kicks and turns! It is imperative for any style of dance.

Jump Your Heart Out
Starts after the October half term.
This class is a fun and energetic class designed to work on the impressive skills that all dancers want to achieve. The class will focus on the specific areas required to execute leaps and turns - just like the dancers we see on dance moms! These skills are imperative to become a competent and talented dancers, particularly in the styles of ballet, jazz, contemporary and musical theatre.
Acrobatic Arts
Flex it out
Acrobatic Arts is a unique blend of dancing and gymnastic disciplines that is taking the dance world by storm. Loved by both teachers and students, Acrobatic Arts is a multi-discipline blend and is also known as Acro Dance. Acro Dance is a style of dance that combines classical dance technique with precision acrobatic elements. It teaches tricks, tumbles, fitness, strength and flexibility.
Acro Mix
Tumble & Tricks
Acro Mix has the perfect balance to learn those all important tricks all dancers aspire to learn. The class will be split into 3 sessions: Body Conditioning, Acrobatic Arts and Tricks.
Each session will be 35 minutes focusing on the different aspects required. It is important to build up the strength and flexibility to obtain the exciting tumbling tricks. All teachers have an extremely high level of knowledge and expertise in their area of the Acro Mix Class.

Singing
Sing Your Heart Out
Singing is the perfect add-on to a dancer's weekly routine. It teaches breath control and stamina as well musicality and performance technique. You will learn a wide variety of songs whilst working on tone, projection and range. Singing is part of musical theatre. You can also add on solo or group singing lessons.
Drama
Explore new possibilities
Drama is learning to explore different characters, emotions and feelings. It teaches the confidence to improvise as well as learning acting scenes, monologues and duologues. Drama is part of our Musical Theatre lessons..

Junior – Aged 7-10 years
We offer Ballet, Tap, Contemporary, Street, Jazz, Body Conditioning, Acrobatic Arts, Musical Theatre, Advanced Ballet, Demi Pointe and Competition Team!
Our Junior Classes aim to teach fantastic foundations in dance technique, energy and performance. They promote fitness & flexibility and ensure children strive for improvement.
Senior - Aged 11+
We offer Ballet, Tap, Contemporary, Street, Jazz, Acrobatic Arts, Musical Theatre, Advanced Ballet, Demi Pointe, Pointe Work and Competition Team.
We offer our Seniors the very highest standard of dance training. Not only promoting dance technique, fitness, flexibility and performance but discipline and determination. Children need to have a very good foundation of dance to attend these classes.
